Selling Your Chametz before Pesach

 According to Halacha (Jewish Law), it is prohibited to possess, let alone eat, chametz (leaven products) on Passover. Before the holiday begins, Jews clean their homes thoroughly, remove all leaven products, sell their chametz to someone who is not of the Jewish faith and then buy it back after the holiday.
