The Stalking Bread
Selling Your Chametz (Leaven)
Sell Your Chametz Online
According to tradition, it is prohibited to possess chametz ( any leaven products) on Passover. While most is consumed or disposed of before the holiday begins, any chametz in one's home should be sold to someone who is not of the Jewish faith.
All Chametz products, as well as utensils, should be stored away. A rabbi ( yours truly!) acts as an agent both to sell the chametz on the morning before Passover as well as buy it back the evening after Passover ends.
Please use the following form to submit your request for Rabbi Victor Urecki to act as your agent to sell your Chametz for you:
I the undersigned do hereby empower and appoint Rabbi Victor Urecki to act in my place and in my behalf to sell all chametz (leaven) owned and possessed by me (knowingly or unknowingly) as prescribed by our Torah.
Rabbi Urecki has full authority and power to sell said chametz and to lease said place or places wherein said chametz may be found upon such terms and upon such conditions as he shall deem fit and proper according to Jewish law.
Please use this box if you have any questions or would like more information
