"Life and Hummus":
A fascinating documentary of a Jewish American filmmaker as he travels through picturesque Israel and the West Bank in hopes of finding 'the worlds best' hummus.
"Chika, The Dog in the Ghetto": The heroic wartime tale of a Jewish boy and his dog, set in a Polish ghetto, told through amazing stop-action animation.
"The Chop": Comedy about Yossi, a charismatic Kosher butcher in England who loses his job, cannot find work at other Kosher butchers, and pretend to be Muslim in order to get work at a Halal butchers.
"Arrival": Notions of collective historic memory arise during an Israeli mother's increasingly uneasy encounter with an elderly German woman on a Berlin-bound train.
"Joe's Violin": A Polish survivor of the Holocaust drops off his 70-year old violin during a local instrument drive and it is acquired by a 12-year-old girl from the Bronx. The experience changes both of their lives. Academy Award nominee for best documentary short!
